Please read the following important technical points before placing an Order:
- We prefer to accept JPEG images. It is not wise to send TIFF, BMP, PNG, PSD or any other uncompressed images. They are typically 5 to 20 times larger in file size.
- Please ensure your JPEG images are as high quality as possible. JPEG images can be saved with compression quality settings from 1% (low) to 100% (very high). The closer to 100% (or Highest or Best) the better. This still represents a considerable reduction in file size over a TIFF equivalent. Anything over 80% is usually fine for us to work with. We will normally send the image back to you at this quality. Please note: if you have an image saved at a lower quality, saving at a higher quality will make no difference. JPEG compression is a lossy process, unlike using WinZip, which is loss-less.
- Please do NOT reduce the physical pixel size of your images. We work on the full size image taken by your camera. Any reduction in image size may cause problems when printing.
- We ONLY accept images electronically. We do NOT accept prints for scanning.
- We deliver all images to you electronically. You are responsible for printing any images we have edited.
- Please do NOT edit your images, in any way, prior to sending to us. Some processes can't be undone.
- Each email should NOT exceed 5Mb. Our emails will accept larger attachments, however, yours may not send emails over 5Mb. Some ISPs may also limit the size of emails. Our Order Form is similarly limited. You are welcome to send multiple emails.
- CDs or DVDs should formatted to be read on a PC. If you are creating a CD on a Mac this should not be a problem.
