Good property pictures get more attention than those that look like the lowest deck of Noah’s Ark following a nasty storm. They also tell potential vendors how professional you are at marketing property.

We take your not-so-great pictures and, for a modest charge, transform them into shots that do justice both to your customers’ properties and your hard-won reputation. It's cheaper for us to do this than for you to have to return to the property and try again.

No potential buyer or vendor will be attracted to your properties or your estate agency by grey sky, scaffolding, or builders’ skips and toilets. Most times we can deal with these flaws, and we can also put glass into part-completed property windows, repair grass, take out cars etc.

Doctor Photo has extensive estate agency knowledge (37 years) and combines that with Photoshop skills to craft from your photos images that are an invaluable asset in your marketing toolbox.

Keep in mind that no amount of manipulation of a really bad photo can substitute for one that’s been taken well in the first place; however, you’d be amazed at what we CAN achieve in Photoshop with our skills and experience.

How we do it

A combination of photographic skills and Photoshop, along with an understanding of your market means we know which areas of your images to work on.

These include:

• Sharpening – all digital photos straight out of the camera benefit from sharpening.
• Correction of lens distortion.
• Making grass greener through colour correction.
• Changing a grey sky to a blue one - makes the image more inviting and uplifting.
• Removing or reducing shadows.
• Improvement of contrast and colour saturation so that a dull photo looks more inviting
• Correcting exposure – in many (not all) cases, an under-exposed or over-exposed image can be rescued.
• Removal of unsightly or unwanted temporary foreground objects, for example in exterior shots: cars, builder's skips and dustbins.
• In interior shots items may include unwashed dishes, bags, shoes and any other items that may seem out of place.

Can you rescue every photograph?

No. It would be wrong to claim we can improve every photograph to a good standard. If we can't improve on what you send we'll tell you - and obviously there will be no charge. Because of our background in the Estate Agency Industry, we can tell what will work and what won't. If we advise you to re-visit a property for a new photo shoot it will be for good reasons!
